Bitcoin POP® cash loading gives customers a way to add cash to their Crypto Dispensers account through participating retail checkout locations. Instead of using a standalone machine, customers generate a barcode in their account, bring it to the register, hand cash to the cashier, and keep the receipt as proof of the transaction.

The retail cash-loading service is provided by Green Dot®. Green Dot does not facilitate, provide, exchange, sell, custody, or participate in cryptocurrency transactions. Cryptocurrency services are provided separately by Crypto Dispensers and its partners.

The process is designed for people who prefer using cash, earn cash, or want a familiar checkout experience. A barcode is generated from the customer’s Crypto Dispensers account and used at a participating retail location. The cashier scans the barcode, accepts the cash, and completes the retail cash-loading transaction at checkout.

Unlike Bitcoin ATM models, Bitcoin POP® cash loading does not depend on a dedicated kiosk for the cash-loading step. The experience happens at participating retail registers, using a cashier-assisted flow and a receipt-based confirmation. Availability varies by location, and retail service fees, limits, and verification requirements may apply.

After the retail cash-loading transaction is completed, funds are typically available in the customer’s Crypto Dispensers account within 15 minutes. The customer can then manage their account through Crypto Dispensers. Any cryptocurrency-related services are separate from the retail cash-loading service.
